Marino Community Special School will open Early Intervention Classes for young children with Autism in September 2013.

Marino school is a purpose-built state of the art school for children with special educational needs. The Early Intervention class is a two year intensive educational programme.

Aim of the Programme

The primary aim of the Early Intervention programme is to prepare children with Autism for participation in a full primary school curriculum.

Reasons for Early Intervention

The Early intervention programme ensures a solid foundation in learning and development for children with Autism. The link with the primary school curriculum supports continuity and progression in the child’s learning.
